Cycling Safety - GOOD NEWS FOR CYCLISTS!

Do you ever wish there were more places to cycle safely? Cycle England encourages and promotes cycle friendly infrastructure to help people enjoy safe and convenient cycling.

Schools, Pupils, Parents and Local Authorities are encouraged to get involved in this cycling initiative.

Bristol was England's first cycle city and others are being added. These include Stoke on Trent, Shrewsbury, York, Blackpool and Cambridge.

Funding will be up to £100m for cycle and cycling facilities. These measures should improve our fitness as well as our environment and help solve problems of traffic congestion with the resultant air and noise pollution.
