Working for a busy Landscape Architecture and Urban Design Team you will work closely with professional colleagues and other disciplines in order to deliver a high quality and timely end product.
As a Landscape Architect you will assist in the design, procurement, contract administration and site supervision stages. You will manage your own workload to ensure the effective delivery of work programmes in consultation with clients.
Design project management, procurement, contract administration and supervision of construction of a variety of projects will be key elements of the role.
Ideally you will hold a BA/BSc/ Diploma in Landscape Architecture and be working towards chartered status with relevant post qualification experience, or you will already be chartered. You will have relevant experience in Landscape Architecture in terms of design, procurement and contract management.

You would have a clear grasp of The Financial drive (funding of Finance) behind development regeneration, with experience of budgetary control and project monitoring. Some experience of conceptual design in rail, highways or major utilities (e,g, Gas, Power, Sewerage etc) would be beneficial.
You will be a member of a professional organisation (e.g. MICE, RICS etc) and probably have 10 years post professional qualifications experience. You will have a keen interest in regeneration and improving lives and the environment.

Landscape Technician with a minimum of 6 months experience using computer aided design. You are required to prepare design and construction drawings and other graphic material in a design orientated context. You will have experience of working in a design office and experience of maintaining and updating office records and general administrative duties.
You are to have a knowledge (in use) of AutoCAD (AutoCAD Release 14 or 2000 or more recent release); Good office organisational and administration skills in; Filing systems, Organisation of data and information on computer and hard copies and a good telephone manner.
Knowledge, use and interpretation of cartographic information including Ordnance Survey maps is required and you are to be proficient in Word and Excel or equivalent. You will be able to visit open spaces, parks and other sites that may be difficult to access to record information, assist with site surveys and inspect completed work.
